Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it. And God has placed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, next, miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, managing, various kinds of languages. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all do miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in languages? Do all interpret? But desire the greater gifts. And I will show you an even better way.
1 Cor 12:27-31
John 3:36, “The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who rejects the Son will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him.” John 14:6 “Jesus told him, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Romans 10:9-10 “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.”
Acts 2:42-47 “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles. Now all the believers were together and held all things in common. They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as any had need. Every day, they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with joyful and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. Every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.”
Acts 17:11, “The people here were of more noble character that those in Thessalonica, since they received the word with eagerness and examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 “Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
Colossians 2:6-7 “So then, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in him, being rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing with gratitude.”
2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:1-2 “You, therefore my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, commit to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
Matthew 6:9-13 “Therefore, you should pray like this: OUR Father in heaven, you name be honored as holy. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give US today OUR daily bread. And forgive US OUR debts, as we also have forgiven OUR debtors. And do not bring US into temptation, but deliver US from the evil one.”
1 Peter 4:10 “Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God.”
Romans 13:10 “Love does no wrong to a neighbor, Love, therefore, is the fulfillment of the law.”
Matthew 28:18-20 “Jesus came near and said to them, ‘All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’” Mark 16:15 “Then He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.’”
Galatians 5:14 “For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:13 “For you were called to be free, brothers and sisters; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.” Matthew 5:14-15 “You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
Philippians 2:3 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves.” Romans 12:10 “Love one another deeply as brothers and sisters. Take the lead in honoring one another.” Matthew 7:12 “Therefore, whatever you want others to do for you, do also the same for them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”
