made it to Paradise.” We laughed at the thought. But in reality, that is what

we are all seeking, “Paradise”. In scripture, the word Paradise describes a park, a garden, a place of beauty. Someone once said, Paradise could be Heavens backyard. One thing we do know, it is the place where God is, and ultimately, the longing of our heart is the pursuit of that which is eternal and the only place to find that is in a relationship to Jesus Christ. We describe that as “shining the light of Christ into our community.

We invite you to walk with us in community. At First Church, you will find a strong commitment to the word of God, the Bible, and practical applications for what this looks like in our daily lives. This is a place that reminds you a lot of what was once important in our lives. And while it isn’t the Paradise of God yet to come, when we find those things here, well, in a way, it is Paradise."
